2023 is the year Brussels becomes the capital of Art Nouveau. Throughout the year, there will be a multidisciplinary programme which will highlight the richness of the city’s architectural heritage and the impact of Art Nouveau on many other artistic fields.

Because of this, there will a lot of things to do around this theme. As you will read in the next 2 points, Art Nouveau will get a special place in the upcoming Bright Brussels light festival and you can visit some of the most beautiful Art Nouveau sites the city has to offer.

Bright Brussels 2023

Bright Brussels is back!

From the 16th until 19th of February, Bright Brussels is back! This year, the light festival illuminates and takes you to 3 beautiful neighborhoods. These are the King's Quarter, the European Quarter and the St. Mary - Lehon Quarter.

Special walking routes let you discover the art and light installations placed all over the city. Because this year Brussels is the Art Nouveau capital, this also gets a special place in the light festival. Make sure to check this out!
